Synopsis

1st Story At a hotel in upstate New York, Heatwave guards Blue Lou, a witness waiting to testify against a mutant gang. Stryker appears at the door, attacks Heatwave, and shoots Blue Lou. Then, the real Stryker arrives, and Heatwave mistakenly blasts him while the impostor escapes. Ripclaw tracks him while Cyblade tends to Blue Lou. As he and Heatwave follow Ripclaw on their motorcycles, Stryker recalls getting in a bar fight, seemingly meeting an old girlfriend, and then blacking out. In the woods, he is seemingly attacked by Ripclaw. The next morning, Ripclaw tracks the assassin to a farm and finds its owners brutally murdered. Just then, he sees his father. Later, Heatwave finds him unconscious, and the team regroups at the farm. Stryker deduces that their foe is a telepathic, shapeshifting hitman called Psyk-Out. Heatwave catches up with the assassin, but he causes Dylan to have a flashback of terrorists killing his daughter. Once the rest of Cyberforce arrives, they learn Psyk-Out has taken the form of a young woman’s boyfriend and left with her. They find the couple and use their powers to expose Psyk-Out’s true form, causing the girl to flee. The team is then attacked by an armed helicopter sent by Psyk-Out’s employer. Stryker shoots it down, and Ripclaw kills Psyk-Out.
